Heating & Air 101

HVAC systems are complex, and the average consumer likely doesn't know how it all works. Some companies will use this confusion to their advantage by selling you equipment or services you may not need. However, we believe in educating our customers on how your HVAC system works so you can better understand how to maximize the life and efficiency of your system and recognize when it's time to repair or replace your equipment.

Heating and cooling are two of the most important factors of your home and are critical to your comfort. You may hear the term "HVAC" when researching your new system. The acronym stands for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning — the three functions of a home system. They control air temperature, humidity, and the quality of the air in your home.
